Christian Burkholder’s life and legacy has left an indelible mark on the Mennonite Church and his descendants. His writings are presented with a fresh translation of the German. Though much more than a family history book, it ends with a genealogical section, giving both maternal and paternal ancestries back to the 1500s in Switzerland, and forward with the first three generations of descendants in America.
