He Came Into Brokenness

At Christmastime, we sing of the beautiful parts of the Christmas story—“All is calm, all is bright” and “The little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.” But in reality, not every part of Christ’s coming to earth was beautiful and rosy. In fact, many parts of the story are shockingly gritty.

This script is a reflection on the messy parts of the story. Jesus came into brokenness because this world is fallen. And He is not afraid of getting involved in this brokenness, including in our lives today.
