This skit tells the story of a good farmer who is raising some rabbits. He loves the rabbits and wants what’s best for them, and has given them three Rabbit Rules to help them live in good relationship with him and each other. However, his rabbits struggle with these rules. They are disobedient, unkind to each other, selfish, and greedy. The farmer decides that the only way to help his rabbits discover true life would be to send a perfect rabbit who could show them what being a good rabbit truly means. The story ends with a direct challenge to the audience to consider whether they would be willing to become a rabbit for a year in order to reach these rabbits. And finally, some spoken word poetry reminds the listener how much Jesus was willing to sacrifice in order to save humanity.
