This rhyming poem reflects on the question, “How will you come to Jesus?” By reflecting on four examples from the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ birth, the listener is challenged to examine their own way of coming to Jesus. Will they close the door in his face, like those in Bethlehem? Will they run to Him as fast as they can, like the shepherds? Will they seek Him through knowledge, like the wisemen? Or will they seek Him through anger and destruction, like Herod’s soldiers?
The poem concludes by expounding on this beautiful truth: regardless of how we come to Jesus, He is always ready and waiting to be found.
